What's in a name
The inventor Gyro Gearloose was originally named Willy Wortel in Dutch (with a y). Somewhere in the 60s, they decided
to change his name into Willie Wortel (with ie). But the logo remained the same for some time, with as a result strange
inconsistencies like in the example below.
Maybe you also saw this in DD 43 of 2002. They took it over from this website.
