Original comic art made by Cavazzano for page 4 of "Notte senza luna", the eleventh episode of the legendary Altai & Jonson series, published in C.d.R. n. 10 in 1976. Born in 1975 from the fervent genius of Tiziano Sclavi and the masterful brush of Giorgio Cavazzano, Altai & Jonson are the parody of the various Starsky and Hutch of the American crime films and TV series that depopulated in the 70s, soon becoming a title of cult among lovers of the genre. Without Altai & Jonson, without Cavazzano, Dylan Dog would probably never have been born.

Barks famous oil painting entitled "Wanderers of Wonderlands" executed in 1981. The father of ducks created this painting, taking inspiration from one of his adventures published in 1954 with the title "Uncle Scrooge and the seven cities of Cibola" in which Uncle Scrooge and his nephews go in search of the 7 legendary cities of gold founded in New Mexico following the Arab conquest of the Spanish city of Merida. We know that Barks was particularly fond of this story as it was the first occasion in which Uncle Scrooge goes in search of hidden and legendary treasures around the world, a theme that will later become recurring (as well as one of the most fascinating) in the character ’s adventures.
