en A week of holiday has arrived at East High, and the Wildcats and their friends go to California for some relaxation. Gabriella and Taylor unfortunately cannot join after their science project was destroyed, and Troy and Chad miss them so much, that the trip is shortened to have time with them in the short time after the project is finished. Beside all of this are Sharpay and Ryan enjoying the holiday on a cruise ship of their father, but by mistake as staff, annoying Sharpay. Ryan finds out though they can now join the staff musical, as a nobody: a great opportunity, and Sharpay can simply reveal her identity afterwards to have the best of both sides.
