As well as references from the 15th century onwards to various phantom islands with near-identical descriptions despite divergent geographic locals. Matching these to a relative recent sighting of a phantom island off the coast of Mexico, Arizona sets out to locate this mysterious island.

For a change,uncle Scrooge doesn't show up at his nephew's door to use him as a slave in some remote region of the Earth,but to ask him to join him in a holiday in the North,where he can relive his adventurous youth and save money for medical treatment.When they're about to cross a lake,though,Donald and Scrooge disappear,like hundreds of gold prospectors in bygone days.Hewey,Dewey and Louis,though,find out that their kidnappers are a Native American tribe who need gold to build water-resistant doors to keep their valley from being flooded,and manage to capture some of them,who are swapped for their uncles.Epilogue:uncle Scrooge manages to make money even from this adventure by swapping the golden doors for some water-resistant doors manufactured by his factories.
