Me and my family

I was born on 9th February 1953 in Firenze (Florence), Italy.
I am a conscientious objector, and I support AON, Amnesty International and Greenpeace.
I have been married since 20th May 1978 and I have two children: Maddalena and Iacopo.

My work

I work as associate professor at the Department of Mathematics for Decisions (DMD) of the University of Florence. My main interest is in (finite) algebraic structures (check my scientific papers! ), but I have also witten about didactics (all of my papers on educational subjects, however, are in Italian).
I am a member of U.M.I. and of A.M.A.S.E.S..

Other interests

I like Disney Comics a lot, and I am a member of the Disney Comics Mailing List.
