Feet in the African Jungle

In the story "The Great Wig Mystery" there are natives, who are mostly covered with wigs. We only see their feet. Feet with toes.

When, on the next page, they have put off their wigs, the feet are webbet feet, without toes!

Gus Goose's birthday

In 1973, Robert van der Kroft draws stories for the Weekly. Van der Kroft will be famous a few years later, as artist of Sjors en Sjimmie (written by Jan van Die and Wilbert Plijnaar, who also did some Disney stories).

The page below is a parody, drawn in 1977.

Thom Heidegroot and co.

It has never been the habit in the weekly to mention the names of the makers of the Disney stories. Nevertheless, starting in the 1970s, sometimes names are mentioned; mainly in game and puzzle pages. Apparently, the editor staff Thom Roep, Frits van der Heide, and Cees de Groot don't always feel the need to mention their real names. See the examples below from 1973 and 1974.

Some more:

The text on the gas station in the picture below ("You ask JUNK, you get JUNK" from weekly #43 of 1973) does probably not refer to editor T. Roep (which could be translated as "J. Unk"). Still, it's a nice markation point: Thom Roep started his career at the weekly in 1973, and has since been chief editor for over 25 years.
