A background gag
It shows that Spanish artist José Colomer Fonts is enjoying the drawing of Duck stories, in the beginning.
He adds all kinds of background jokes. Like in the story about "Itolia".
The panels below are taken from page 3, 7, and 9 of the story. One thing is clear: the colourist didn't get the joke...
Maybe you also saw this in DD 43 of 2002. They took it over from this website.
(Not) a Dutch Disney stamp
In 1984, the Donald Duck character existed 50 years.
Apparently, they thought about issuing a stamp to celebrate this fact. See the article below, taken from
